  A stock IIc+ runs at 4 mhz, and a stock IIe runs 1mhz.  That being said,
the IIe has a bunch of expansion slots, while the IIc+ has one that I think
can only be used by a handful of things.  However, for the IIe you can get
your self accelerators that will more than make up for the speed difference.
The IIc+ has a built in 3.5" 800k floppy, while you need an extra internal
card to give the IIe that ability.
