I was quite sure, about L.A. Crackdown, as I found an apple 2 manual for
it.

So then I'd assume that there was no apple 2 version at all. The
Connelly group, which did 'Dragonriders' left Epyx after this and the
sequel 'Dragonlady' was never released for any format, the project was
cancelled.

That would be fine. So I'll continue reading this space. I think I'll
also have some additional questions about Epyx games in the future,
maybe you could help me again.
