Re: Glen Bredon 'In Memorium'

First, you misspelled "memoriam." Sorry, I'm a technical writer by trade,

Thanks for your correction - I'll consult my dictionary and make the proper
spelling.

<<Second, these archives are a little funky.>>

What a tacky remark to make on the matter. They were after all
in the exact state they exist currently from Glen's own HD and
computer.

<<At least the MERLINGS.BXY archive has all the files in one huge directory,
instead of sorted out into subdirectories the way they should be (Merlin
ships with a number of subdirectories). I can tell that this is something
you did yourself>>

I archived the MERLINGS.BXY exactly as Glen Bredon has it on his hard drive
of his G3 - without making any changes. If you doubt this you are welcome
to come by my home and see it for yourself. His G3 is here for your inspection

and varification on this!

multiple copies of Finder.Data, meaning they were originally in multiple
directories but compacted into one during compression in ShrinkIt.>>

The Merlin GS folder on Glen's HD and his computer was archived exactly as it
was with ShrinkIt. Perhaps as I said above you could come by my home and
advise me on the PROPER method to do it again. Give me a call at 415-468-1609
and arrange a time to come over to help me out with this - please!

Any chance of reuploading these with the directory trees intact?

I'd be glad to with your assistance in showing me what the reason for such
an occurance with the matter - so it can be corrected.

Cheers,
Tom
