New MB, new problems.

My 820-0087-A arrived today.  I installed and powered it up, "APPLE //
e".  Enhanced, nice!  And when I inserted the very small 80COL/64K
card I didn't get the garbage screen I was getting before.  However...

While running any type of 80COL diags I started to get screen garbage
and if I power off and power on all I get is garbage.  I have to
actually remove the card to boot again.

If I use my old 80COL-only card.  I can pass 80COL, RAM, and ROM
tests.

I think the MB is good, the only strangeness I am getting with the
diags is that it thinks my parallel and serial are in opposite slots
when testing, however it detects them in the correct slots, and the
diags also report that I have a Saturn Accelerator in slot 5, however
5 is empty.  I am thinking bugs in the diags?  I should have performed
a baseline first on the old MB.  I am using Masterdiags2e.

So, defective MB or 80COL card?
