It has been a very public thing the last few weeks (with reports on CNN and
so forth): Microsoft has licensed software from another company that will
actually scan networks looking for illegal copies of Microsoft's software,
and they have been using it for some time now, hunting down places that have
pirated Microsoft products, and have in fact been getting their lawyers
after people when copies are found.
