Strange Apple II RGB Monitor

I just got a strange monitor at a flea market that I would like to get some
info about.  The model number is A9M0308 and all it says is RGB monitor.  It
looks like the green phosphor monitor for the IIe except bigger and the tilt
thing is motor controlled.  I hooked it up to my Apple III with a IIGS
monitor cable because it didn't come with one and it worked and it also
worked on my GS.  Does this monitor work on the IIe?  It looks like it takes
some kind of interface card.  Also, is the cable that originally came with
it the same as the GS monitor cable?
