GBBS is a BBS; pre Internet; where people can call in and post messages, play
games, D/L files, much like the net is today, but it is ran on a personal
computer and for the most part is not connected to anything else.  BBS's
started in the 1980s and ran through the first part of the 1990s. When the
Internet started to get big most went away from lack of use, some are still
around like mine and a few have access or are on the Net.
