     The IIgs you have is frequently called a "Woz GS". It may have the
original ROM and be a "ROM-00" machine. Or, the original owner may have taken
advantage of Apple's free upgrade offer which included a new ROM (in which
case the startup screen should show "ROM Version 01" near the bottom and you
have a "ROM-01" machine).

     The IIgs is a pretty nice computer well worth keeping. It can run nearly

     The above is just a start. When more questions occur-- like you wonder
about what the various boards which may be plugged in inside are for or
