That sounds just like my UDC. Mixture of 5.25 & 3.5 drives on the one controller
and able to boot off either 3.5 or 5.25 (but not Pascal 5.25 disks as the
boot blocks are wrong - the UDC makes the 5.25 drives Smartport/ProDOS block
devices).

How much space is left in the Liron firmware?
