64bit buses is crazy. I like it. Gonna to have to go with a more compact
card edge though, lest the slots be 12 inches long ala vlb.
But designing your own cpu??? Surely you are insane (but a good insane). I
didn't realize until just a few weeks ago, that small runs of PCB were
affordable. Had I not had this revelation, I would be notifying the
authorities so they could take you back to the psychiatric hospital for the
technologically insane. Certainly you can't just call up a IC fab and say "I
want 250 of this design, when can you have them ready?" ? Even if you can,
what prices are we talking?
