Re: Last HS SCSI Card sold for $260.00 on Ebay
A while back, I picked up a HS SCSI card, locally, for $60.00, with an
external HD and connecting cable thrown in for free. At the time, I thought
that $60.00 was a bit high to pay for this set up but after following a few
HS SCSI card auctions on Ebay, I've seen that $200.00+ for these cards is
becoming more common, which means that the $260.00 price on this last one is
not completely unprecedented. I know that I wouldn't pay that much for it
but I have been known to pay to much for other vintage items that I really,
really wanted.
Maybe the person that bought the card has lots of money to throw around, and
they just decided to get the card no matter what. There have been a few
items that I wish that I had just put a $1000.00 bid on just to make sure
that I won the auction. The items would never bid up that high but at least
I wouldn't have to bid snipe to win the auction.
