If you have a modem that supports Caller ID then there should be no
problem sending the AT commands from an Apple II using ProTERM, or any
other communications program, to that modem to get the number and/or
name of the person calling you.

I don't own a modem with Caller ID nor do I subscribe to the Caller ID
service so I can't give any more details than that.
