     Saw you at the Swap Meet-- one of the few genuine Apple II sellers in a
sea of Mac stuff. Darn good turnout, though. (And, I did get a nice 250MB
SCSI drive for $10!)

     Apple seems to be doing okay as far as holding onto it's little piece of
the market goes. According to ancient lore, that means no move in the Apple
II area. Your idea that the "upgraded Apple II" is a Mac which can run Apple
II software fits. No big deal since, via emulators, Macs can already do a
decent job of running Apple II software.

     A Y2k-class Apple II would hand Apple a big chunk of PC's share of the
market; but, it would pretty well zonk Mac, too.
