Yeah, off topic and a very touchy subject.

It's not about the kids. It's not really about the guns. Gun
control is such a great political subject around election times,
rather like drug control. If you notice, very little is done
to really control either of these problems. Generally, just
enough to satisfy the public issues and possibly get someone
elected.
