Mastery Development Network card help needed.

I picked up a couple of interesting network cards today by Mastery
Development (1989,) with matching slot #1 printer cards. I don't know
anything about these cards but here's what is written on the cards.

Slot #7 Network Card by Mastery Development
Student ROM Revision 6.1 #6
Connecting cable with 2 female 25pin plug ends.
Firmware by Peter Jensen.

Slot #1 printer card by Mastery Development
no connecting cable... just three little chips.

Both cards are bright red. I have no software or manuals for these cards,
and I don't have a clue how to use them. Does anyone know anything about
these cards? Will they work with a Localtalk network? I'm thinking no,
because the chips look more like parallel chips rather than serial chips but
I'm not sure. Any assistance here would be great.
