and mentions some place to get non-freeware/shareware Apple II
software; or asks where they can get such software - it would
be a helluva lot quieter; if they're informed of the potential
problems if they proceed to d/l such software and it was left
alone by the rest. Things could then focus on helping others
with A2 problems, or sharing A2 info/news, etc; rather than on
defending any particular approach. Makes sense to me . . .
Those who still wished to indicate where such software could be
located; could always email a reply, rather than posting it to
the NG.
