I have had 4 >different< customers all complaining that the 9 chip SIMMs I
sold them didn't work in their IIf or IIg printer. As soon as I sent them or
brought them the 3 chip variety, it worked fine. So what can I say, but from
my experience, but the IIf and IIg are better off with the 2 or 3 chip SIMMs.
Could be your IIg has a different version of the ROM's. I know there are
something like 3 versions out there.
