This is incorrect. The mail group is closing for a while because I am going to
work on the TEXAS II newsletter, a printed subscription newsletter for which
people pay. This decision was made about a week ago, and has been public
knowledge for some time. We've done it several times before, and this seemed
like a good time to do it. The mail group took so much of my time that it was
not fair to paying customers.

The thing about the forwarder  just happed this morning. It had nothing to do
with the decision to spend time on other projects. If DXL were actually in the
mail group instead of spouting hearsay, he would know that.
