Re: Apple II/e newbie - please help

Thanks for the information, Rubywand. I do not have any diskettes at
all for this system. I have MS DOS 3.3, but it's on IBM formatted
floppies. I also have blank HD 5.25" IBM formatted floppies, which is
the wrong kind.

I have pressed control + reset to get to the Applesoft prompt, and all
I see is a green screen that says Apple ][ at the top. I hate to
sound really stupid, but what does the Applesoft prompt look like?

I have three cards inside the system: A disk interface card in slot
6, a printer interface card in slot 1, and a card in the slot marked
Aux. Connector. From the information I have located, this is not an
enhanced version of the Apple IIe, nor does it have the enhancement
kit added.

Thanks for the web site links. I'll read through the information
posted. I appreciate your help.
