That's right. And I don't think those kind of people will ever
listen...because fundamentally, they are right. The bottom line is that
much of the software used there is used without permission of the original
authors, when all that's required is simply asking them, "Hey, is it ok if
we redistribute?" But you guys wouldn't even do that. Whose fault is it, in
the end? In the end, if those sites get shut down for carrying commercial
software that's still under copyright protection and the original authors
haven't given permission, then the people that posted it...that's whose
fault it is. You're shooting the messenger for sounding the alarm.

And if this guy offers Spectrum, then he will either be forced to stop
doing that, or his whole site will be shut down. His choice...

Not in everyone's nature, apparently. STEALING IS GOOD hurts someone sooner
or later, and it hurts us all in quiet ways.
