No real programming needed. Do a PR#n (n=slot number of Videx card) and
the on-board firmware will initialize the card. From then on, do a PR#n
before printing to the Videx card, and PR#0 (or PR#3) to print to the
normal display.
The above might clear the Videx display every time; I'm not sure. If you
need to program the display directly without using the built-in firmware,
then I have a Videx manual with a chapter on display memory mapping that
explains how to do it.
