I don't recall either of them claiming that they developed any
software. I know Q_C has definitely denied being a developer and
Penman I believe has only claimed to be a beta tester. My memory
might be failing me again, though.

I'd be interested to know how you found that out. About the best I
can see you getting would be my news server and it is possible to fake
that too. Even if you got the IP address I had when I posted that
message, I doubt that my ISP would give you the name of the account
holder of that IP address at that time. If they did, I'll have to
speak to them about privacy issues. And again, even if they did, you
would only have the name of the account holder and not who did the
actual posting.
By the way, I don't have a very large circle of offline friends,
although the ones I have are quite close, so I'd be interested to know
who our mutual friends are. Almost all my friends live here in
Ontario. If you mean online friends then we still have the problem of
whether I have been truthful with my online identity.

No, that is not my position. I've been reading the "you are a coward
for posting anonymously" line for quite some time. It is part of the
reason I even posted to this thread.
If I did think posting anonymously made you a coward I would call you
an ex-coward at the very least. I remember a time when you didn't
post your actual name. :-)

If people don't talk about illegal activities then I don't say
anything about them. Look at the recent weeks and notice how little
was said about copyrights and piracy while Mr. Turley wasn't posting.
Oh, and I'm still working on my Apple II software.
