Roy, what the pirates don't want to do is go to the trouble
that Willie Yeo's Treasure Chest and Delphi's Lost
Classics Project have done: track down the copyright
holders, get verifiable proof of change to freeware, and
then make the software available to everyone. (Turley
keeps saying "I have the proof but I won't show you."
What's that tell you about his ability to do things
legally? :) )
Personally, I've downloaded everything the above
two projects/efforts have made available, and I've found
a LOT of good material there. The problem is that it's
only a handful of people, and I suspect that real-life
can keep them from tracking down EVERYTHING ever written
for the APple II. Sounds like they're trying to tho. :)
So--just remember that rationalizations of the Turlettes
aside, some people are trying to do the right thing and
ARE detting stuff released. :)
