I can think of something that cares ... an AppleWin user. ;-)
Currently the AppleWin NSC emulation uses 1=SUN.

If someone has old programs (perhaps that they wrote themselves)
written before the NSC vendors adopted this newer convention, they'll
be unhappy, and potentially want to be able to configure this as an
emulation option.

Anyway, we'll cross that bridge when we come to it.
