Re: The "user-developer gap" myth

Hi Dain,

If it's a good program, there is no reason for them not to ask
a reasonable price as well as protecting their copyrights. After
all, this worked in the MS/PC world and many people got rich by
using their talents. Considering the size of the Apple II
community, this probably won't happen unless you have a large
variety of applications to offer.

By the same token, they should not allow themselves to be
disappointed if sales in this small community are small also.

Please don't feel sorry for me. I am on a fixed income due to
some serious back problems. To me, $25 can be a lot to spend on
what I consider as a hobby. Of course, I have been lucky. I have
a lot of friends who have helped me, either by getting the Apple
II stuff I needed or let me trade for them and in some cases,
work for them.
