   If you pushed on it to adjust it, you may have ruined it.  It sounds like
the old Apple Color 100 monitor.  Looks like the Monitor //, with the tilt
screen.  But the screen tilts with a switch just to the right of the power
switch.  It has a motor that tilts the screen, and pushing on it can strip the
gears out.  Has a 15 pin connection on the back, and the power cord is not
built-in, like the Monitor //'s was. Plugs right into the Apple ///, and you
need a card for the Apple II.  I have one somewhere.....

   I just picked up a Color Monitor 100 at a local Goodwill.  I remember them
from back in my Dealer days, and haven't seen one in quite a long time.
