There were a large number of books published on this topic that you
might be able to track down in various places.
The A2Pro forum on Genie had at least one A2 University course on
programming in Applesoft. I believe the archives for them might be in
the A2Pro forum on Delphi now. If not, I'm sure they could be made
available from there again although you would need a pay account to be
able to download them.
They might be available, or could possibly be made available, on other
sites on such as the Ground or Trenco FTP sites. I'd have to check on
that.
I've been toying with the idea of posting some of the old course
archives to the A2 University web page on Delphi (see my signature for
the A2Pro URL) but I haven't discussed it with the Syndicomm staff yet
so I can't make any promises.
I do recall someone having a simple Applesoft tutorial on their web
site but I can't remember who it was now.
By the way, if you happen to have a IIgs, you might want to look into
GSoft BASIC from the ByteWorks. The manual is more of a reference but
there is a separate book called "Learn to Program in GSoft BASIC" that
will teach you how to write good programs using GSoft BASIC. Delphi
also has transcripts of the weekly chats that were held to help people
working through the book. They are still currently available on the
A2 University page of the A2Pro site.
The ByteWorks web site is at:
