The PC Transporter uses a V30.

If I remember right, the V40 is a somewhat different beast: it has an
x86 compatible core, but is a single chip microcomputer, i.e. it has a
lot of built-in peripherals (parallel I/O, timers, RAM, etc.).  By
comparison, the V30 is a general purpose microprocessor without built-in
peripherals.
