Hi,

the last days I got the same problems starting my IIGS (ROM03) with
floppy-disc which are extracted with the floppy of my UMAX Pulsar
(Mac compatible G3/400)... On the UMAX I could read everything on the
floppy...but on the IIGS only "Unable to load ProDOS" :-((
But I did know that the IIGS Drive is/was OK, I tried to extract the
discs on my PowerBook 150 Floppy... and then the IIGS works with
the Discs (I did boot with Disk2 from the Apple-Images).

If you could try to extract the discs with a 68K Mac (LC or bigger).
I think the floppy-drives there could write the disc more "compatible"
:-))

MY IIGS ROM03, 3.2MB Ram, one 3.5" 800K Drive..... and a
HD20-Floppy-Port, wich isnt recognized :-((

Bye
Guido. ...... need a SCCI-Controller !
