The seven-conductor cable should be plugged into the sound expansion
connector at the front right corner of the IIgs motherboard.  This connector
will feed stereo sound to the card.  (The connector also has the pins needed
for some other sound-related stuff, like the analog-to-digital converter
used to record audio if you have a sound digitizer card).

Then you should just have to plug in headphones or speakers and enjoy your
improved sound.  I don't know what the jumpers are for but my guess is you
shouldn't have to mess with them.
