You are right. I still have an "Option Board" which was sold by the same
folks who distributed the CopyII Plus diskcopying program. One could
actually copy just about all Apple II copy protected diskettes using one or
two floppy drives from the PC. The option board plugged in between the PCs
disk controller and the floppy drive cable.
