Note that you can't simply launch BASIC.SYSTEM from Finder and use the
PR#6 or PR#5 command, because this will have exactly the same end result
as launching the PRODOS file on the floppy from Finder. You _must_ use
the Shut Down command, then restart, then press the '8' key.

Another option: if you can arrange your slots so that the Focus card is
in a slot number lower than 6 (e.g. slot 4), then you can set the
startup slot to "Scan", and the IIgs will boot as follows:

- First, try the 5.25" drive. If there is a bootable disk in the drive,
it will be used to boot the machine.

- If there is no bootable disk in the 5.25" drive, next try the 3.5"
drive.

- If there is no bootable disk in the 3.5" drive, boot from the hard
drive.

Using this method, all you need to do is insert your game disk in the
5.25" or 3.5" drive and use the Shut Down command in Finder, followed by
a Restart.

This is probably the same reason as I described earlier - something in
your GS/OS system has installed an interrupt handler, and the diagnostic
program is colliding with it.
