A large number of DOS 3.3 and ProDOS programs as well. A few years ago
I tried setting up my II+ with a Rev C SCSI card in slot 7, a 3.5 unidisk
in
slot 6 and a Disk II in slot 5. The idea was if I didn't turn on the HD
the II+
would go to slot 6 and if there was no disk in the 3.5 unidisk it'd go to
slot 5.
That way it'd simple to startup off any drive. That didn't last long as
so many
programs either expected the Disk II in slot 6 or sometimes the ProDOS
apps
would give you the option of typing in a path name instead which isn't a
lot of
help if you don't know the name of the floppy.
