A2 User Group Newsletters
--> Bear with me, I do get to the topic . . .
My granddaughter is now crawling and comes and visits me in
my computer room. Thing is, there's a _LOT_ of computer stuff
and since it's piled at `rug-rat' height; she is quite happy
to pull these piles of `stuff' apart and scatter it all over.
Consequently, I've been motivated to clean-up some of this up.
I ran out of room long ago for my stuff so it's past the point
of tidying and now to the point of giving away. Case in point:
Our A2 User Group (when it was active) traded User Group News-
letters with other User Groups. Since I ended-up as Librarian
I inherited the lot, years ago. They gotta go. I've got some
"Maple Orchard" (Toronto, Ontario); "Apples B.C" (Vancouver, BC)
and "Applecations (Sydney, N.S.W).
I'll offer the "Apples B.C" to Herbert Fung for `1st dibs' as
his name's all over those newsletters and I think he's local to
me, now (ie: Edmonton, AB) and I feel t'would be sort of logical
if (ex)members of LOGIC wanted the "Maple Orchard" newsletters
and (ex)members of AUG (Sydney) wanted the "Applecations", so
even if others got their request in 1st - I'd still give the
above-noted folks the priority on them (but not forever...)
Anyhoo; there's only 3 "Maple Orchard"; 24 "Applecations" and
31 "Apples B.C", so it's not that big a deal. Especially, if
it ended-up that no one was all that interested! :->
Whenever they go and to whomever they go to; they go as complete
batches (ie: all the B.C ones, together; all the Australian ones,
together and `all' the Ontario ones, together - no pick 'n choose)
I've included a listing with dates and samples of topics and since
all three were A2/Mac - sometimes I was hard-pressed to come up
with A2-specific topics - many are weighted towards Mac - fair
warning. By-the-by: as to `our' newsletter - t'was solely A2 and
t'was slim and anemic so I'll keep the E.A.G.L.E newsletters . . .
Whomever wants these (as noted above); takes either all, or all of
one particular User Group; and pays shipping. I'll figure out what
the cost would be to "x"; whomever, sends this; I'll package them
and send them - and whomever, basically gets them for free (other
than shipping - which, for some, may be high as many bulk-out on
the heavy side). So - here they are :
