It's even simpler than that. The emulated NSC can't be set. ;-) It
takes the current PC date/time and feeds it to the calling driver.
Luckily, the SmartWatch Utility driver shows the current day, date and
time, and it's correct. So the manual is either for different hardware
or wrong.

When implementing the NSC I found a hit in Google Books that confirmed
the driver and my emulation, but I can't find it now. This Byte mag
hit in Google Books might confirm it too, but I can't view it - from
outside the US?
