an excellent job. I was referring to the other ftp sites which
quickly copied the downloads as soon as I mentioned the url here.

online because of that or if they just got busy and forgot about
it.>>
I contacted the So What Software site host and owner by email asking
if he had any problems or objections with my making ShrinkIt archives of the
'So What Software' titles I had to offer as such with uploads to the Ground
Apple2 site and my own web site, he replied that as long as the site was
mentioned and that they were freewares for non commercial distribution and
personal use only - he had no problems with such. So, I highly doubt their
being available for download from Ground has anything to do with the others
listed on the 'So What Software' site not being available from there yet.
All of the 'So What Software' titles available to the public (with the
exception of two disks for the Iconix full program release - only the demo of
that program is in the archived collection folder noted below) are available
for download from the Ground ftp site - ref. this URL:
http://ground.ecn.uiowa.edu/apple2/Collections/SoWhat/
They have all been there from July, 1999.
I have the full Iconix program on the original relesed disks - but, for some
unknown reason it will not work properly - so I don't intend to make an archive
and upload such - until I have a fully working and functional program of it.
When I can obtain the others not already there in the 'SoWhat' folder on Ground
and my time allows, I will archive them in ShrinkIt file format and upload them
to Ground also.
