No, if AppleWorks 5 senses both AppleTalk and UltraMacros, it will shut
AppleTalk off with a call to a IIGS tool. Therefore there is no AppleTalk, and
there is no conflict. The patch disallows the shut-off, so both can co-exist.
We do not know why ProSel 16 solves so many AppleTalk and interrupt problems on
startup with a __pre-IIGS__ program such as UltraMacros, which leaps into aux
mem constantly. It would be so interesting if we did know.
