Apple SCSI Drives

I was given a couple of Apple SCSI Drives [160 meg by IBM and a Quantum
ProDrive 80 LPS might be 85 meg] to test. I used my Adaptec 1542CF on a
386-40. They both are recognized and boot up to the message "NO ROM
BASIC". What to I need to connect these drives to my APPLE IIe. ie Power
supply; cable; etc.
