A System 6.0.1 book is a great idea! A problem with Apple's System
manuals is that they tend to be large and loaded with fluff. They tell you
about windows and mouse clicking but pretty well avoid delivering much hard
information. (It's like going to the IIgs User's Manual for information about
the IIgs.)
The best System 6 book I've seen is the one put together by Jerry Kindall
for Quality Computers. Perhaps he would agree to let you make copies, add info
for v6.0.1, and sell the manual (perhaps as sheets punched for loose leaf) for
enough to pay for the paper, printing, and postage. (Jerry can be contacted
via his web site: http://www.manual.com/apple2/ )

What about having a $5/yr membership for non-resident members? Say,
anyone outside your county could get a GSAUG 'internet membership' and be able
to order disks from your library for disk cost + shipping. The library
contents could be listed on your web site.
