You need to do a PRINT FRE(0). However, that will only tell you how
much free memory is available for Applesoft programs and variables on
the motherboard of your IIe. It won't tell you how much memory is
actually on the motherboard or how much extra memory might be
installed.

It depends on whether it is the 80 column card or the extended 80
column card. The 80 column card only gives you enough extra memory
for displaying 80 columns of text but the extended 80 column card
gives you an extra 64KB of RAM.
I'm pretty sure there were no IIe's sold that didn't have 64KB on the
motherboard and if you look at your 80 column card, if it has some RAM
chips on it then it would have another 64KB of RAM giving your IIe a
total of 128KB of RAM.
This is assuming that you have an Apple brand 80 column card in the
aux slot. Also, if you have a RAM card in a standard slot, that can
be recognized and used automatically by some programs but not all.
More programs can recognized and use aux slot RAM than standard slot
RAM.
