SCSI Problem

I have a Quantum SCSI drive (~240 meg) and an Apple High Speed SCSI card,
and I can't seem to initalize the drive using Advanced Disk Utility. I boot
the 6.0.1 install disk, quit install, then run ADU from the systools1 disk
and it finds the drive, i click initalize, it runs for a while, and then it
tells me it can't init the drive. Any ideas on what could be wrong?

PS. The drive is terminated properly and the card is properly modded to
supply the termination power for the drive.
