I have discussed the licensing agreement that is printed on software envelopes
with several attorneys. Basically, they would probably "NOT" hold up in court.
If the person can't read English (or the language printed on the envelope) how
can he or she agree to the terms? For a contract to be legal it must be agreed
upon by both parties and accepted! This is more of a "do it this way, or else"
type of arrangement. To date, I know of no court case that has come from
failure to comply with the printing on the envelope.
