Mimic Systems Card Info?
Hi;
I recently picked up a box of old Apple II interface cards. There are
several that I can not identify, however I am just asking about one card.
I am looking for help in identifying one card. The description follows.
Description of major features:
Starting from the centre, there are two square chips. One is labeled
Mimic Systems 854002 ATG Electronics (c) 1985 8543. The other is labeled
Mimic Systems 854003 ATG Electronics (c) 1985 8542. To the right of these
is a EPROM labeled Char. Gen. (c) 1985. Next are two sets of 3-pin
jumpers. Below this is a chip labeled R6502P R6502-II 8435.
On the left of center are three ribbon cables from 16-pin DIP sockets on
the board to 16-pin female connectors that look like smaller versions of
the Disk II cable. The sockets are labeled Game (Game port?), Key
(Keyboard?), and Stuff. There is another 3-pin jumper. Above this is a
bank of eight 64k memory chips (KM4164A-15). At the top is another 16-pin
DIP socket (empty) labeled RAM Exp.
The card almost seems like an Apple II+ on a card.
Any help with ID-ing this card would be appreciated.
