That's the nice thing about ADT. Practically any cable will work as long
as the TD<>RD and RD<>TD lines are connected. Oh and the ground. On my
2c, I use a simple 3 wire cable for ADT. Of course, it works for Proterm
v2 also since the 2c does very little handshaking.

On my GS, I use a more sophisticated null modem cable with a SSC. Well,
not a lot more sophisticated. It is still TD<>RD and RD<>TD, ground and
RTS<>CTS, CTS<>RTS. The trick to all of this is making certain you have
the correct pins. I've seen some pinouts that wound up being backwards.
