Look, I did not want to incite any more nastiness on this newsgroup.
I'm new to Apple -- just got some boxes on eBay and discovered that I
liked them.  I don't know the history or personalities involved here, or
why there's such hatred and bickering.  I apologize if my request
offended folks as piracy -- most hardware OEMs just post their BIOS
images and device drivers on the web for the public freely to download
-- were Applied Engineering still in business, I suspect that they would
do the same.  The code has no value unless you own their hardware.

If the upgrade kit from //SHH Systeme included the ROM, then I would
order it from them, but their web page clearly states that they do not
provide the firmware, just the 32K daughtercard.  Another user has
already mailed me his old and new TWGS ROMs.  I will update his old chip
to the new firmware and return them both.

I do appreciate the offer of help, but given that it has caused yet more
rancor, please disregard my earlier request.
