Come to think of it, you are right.  He has gotten better.

But let's not forget that he was the one who spawned
the evangelism in the first place.  Back at early Apple,
he even pitted the Mac group of employees against
everone else at Apple.  It got so out of hand that it
was one of the reasons Sculley got rid of him.

Macs are being pushed in a more sane way not and
I just love the way that iBook looks.  iMac is a smart
move.

I still think getting rid of the x86 version of MacOS-X
and the Mac clones were bad moves though.

Jobs understands that it is not me against the evil
world now.  He understands that it is me finding a
niche.  What he has to now realize is that it should
be be doing my thing well in the common ball park
where there are multiple players.  Recognize that
Wintel is a fallacy, that Windows is one product
that MacOS should be pitted against BUT Intel,
Motorolla, and AMD are all separate entities and he
would make a breakthrough.

Give the 1Ghz AMD Athlon user the ability to load
up MacOS and watch MacOS fly off store shelves.
