Re: No sense of humor?

Hiya Bob.... Say.. you must be one of those folks that likes
the last word. :)

*>Calling people names requarding their sexual preference is
going to get alot
*>done about piracy. Saying they are brainless, etc, drug
addicts, all that
*>crap. That helps the piracy situation! Keep up your
wonderful campaign.

So go weep about it. And thanks for your permission. ;)

 *>>
*>> I'd rather berate his actions in public, Bob. And
pirates,
*>> and piracy are legitimate topics. You may no like to
hear
*>> about them, but then I'm not here to please you.

*>We know about his actions, he posts his announcements to
this newsgroup. Do
*>you have to make fun of a murderer to make his action
criminal? Everybody

No. Do you realize how silly that question sounds?

*>already knows. If you are so strongly against piracy,
please contact a
*>copyright lawyer, the owners of every illegaly uploaded
software, and the
*>police. They are the people who handle these things.

I hate lawyers almost more that Turdley. And I prefer not to
do what you demand. There. Chew on that. ;)

*>> Finally, someone with an EFFECTIVE way of solving the
Apple
*>> II piracy problem. Odd, but I don't see you offering to
tell
 *>> us what it is.

*>Call the police. Contact the District attorney in your
area and file a
*>complaint. Contact the people who own the software that
is illegally
*>available and have them prosecute. Effective? More so
than throwing mud.

Perhaps that is more effective. But it costs money, I'd have
to be an injured party, and no guarantee of justice.

You may no like my methods. Tough.

*>> *> > As for asimov, folks have complained. They don't
do

ever

 *>>
*>> Yep. Efforts have been ineffective. Does that make
asimov
 *>> right in your eyes?
 *>>

*>No it does not. It just goes to show that your "efforts"
(term used very
 *>loosely) are futile.

Futility has never bothered me. ;)

*>> Well, you're familiar with tarnover, asimov, fairway...
I
*>> guess the evidence is right in front of your eyes.
Stick
*>> with legitimate sites like trenco.
 *>>

*>Thats the first thing you've written that makes any sense!
You tell readers
*>what is bad...What is good. Effective! Keep it up.

Heh...

*>> *> > Yeah... Have you noticed the stream of software
slowing
 *>> down
*>> *> > though? I remember the "good ol' days", Bob.
 *>>

*>I remember the good ol' days. They are gone and the GS
wasn't upgraded to
*>modern standards, so we're stuck with hobbyist programmers
coding things for
*>our computers. Did piracy hurt the GS? Yes. In my
opinion the software
*>market would be just as dead as it is now even if piracy
didn't hurt the
 *>Apple II long ago.

So... Why are you so fond of pirates now? And why do you
defend them from a proper scolding? :)

*>> *> I've beta tested quite a few software titles (at
least 5)
 *>> that were never

lack

software
 *>> that only 3 other
 *>> *> people have.
 *>>
*>> The developer gave you a copy. Did they give you the
right
*>> to distribute it to others?
 *>>

*>No, I wasn't given the right to distribute it to others.
That is why I keep
*>it on my hard drive and use it every day, but I haven't
even hinted at what
*>the software is. I signed an NDA, non disclosure
agreement. I would have
*>followed the authors wishes even if not for the NDA. I
wouldn't want to
*>hurt development on anything or go back on my word. I
could upload the
*>software now that the developer threw his GS away and
doesn't plan to
*>support or release the software, and the author wouldn't
care. I could even
*>get him to reclassify the stuff if I wanted to. I like
having software that
 *>others don't.

That's nice. Turley likes having software he didn't pay for.
The Turlettes like having software they didn't pay for. I
don't like that and I say something about it, and you get
upset. Odd world.

*>You don't care about other readers who read your posts?
Maybe Turley hurts
*>every apple II user (thats what others have said)...You
hurt every II user
*>on this newsgroup. Two wrongs make nothing.

Well, a few folks here have mentioned that they like my
posts. And the sensitive sort have been warned and can
filter me.

 *>> *> Animal_Control000001 Animal_Control000002
 *>> Animal_Control000003
 *>> *> Animal_Control000004 Animal_Control000005
 *>> Animal_Control000006
 *>>
*>> So your entire domain gets blocked out. Big deal.

*>I'm sure I can come up with over 100 domains with 1000
usernames from each
*>to post your crap to your beloved Delphi.

Uh... "beloved Delphi"? If you insist. The Turlettes
believe so.

And if you want to become the QC of Delphi, nothing _I_ or
anyone else can stop you. Although you'll want to hide your
IP so that you don't lose your account.
*>Let me know what your buddies think of it. Watch for the
posts on Delhpi,
*>I'm moving it over there. Rest assured, I'll go next door
and post from my
 *>buddies computer and ISP.

So he loses HIS account and doesn't like you anymore.

And I might ask why YOU'RE so upset about the matter here
that you'd be willing to start escalating the battle? I can
hear the blood vessels popping from here. :)

*>So scare newsgroup readers away so that when new software
is announced,
*>nobody is there to read the announcement so that they can
go buy it!

Non Sequitor, Bob. You've yet to demonstrate what you claim
is happening.

*>> OK. I'm open to ideas on how to rid csa2 of Turlettes,
Bob.
 *>> Such as...?

*>Ok, I've outlined a few ideas above. Why not start a
thread about it?

Because I don't start threads, Bob. :)

 *>>
*>> *> You need to change your closing statement in your
posts!
 *>>
*>> Nah... It rhymes, and the fake QC's aren't using it yet.
;)
 *>>

*>So you make a statement that is completely false (aka lie)
just because it
*>rhymes and you think it is original? I notice
similarities between they way
*>you describe Mr Turley and the way you actually are.

Hey, Bob.. I've been labelled a Vogon. I'm for a Turlette
Free Apple II Community... Where's the lie? You're pulling
that same old Turlette "build a straw man and knock it down"
strategy. It won't work, and it makes you look like a liar
as well.

And I've noticed you aren't very observant. :)

*>> Like I said, I'm open to any idea you might have. Or
are you
 *>> just blowing wind?

*>YOU don't have any ideas? Come on, you MUST have
something better than to
 *>call names!

Nope. Guess I'm just a dim Kitty! :)

 *>>
*>> *> So, tell me. What are you doing to rid the A2
community
 *>> of Turlettes?
 *>>
*>> Ridiculing them. Perhaps it won't work. But it's what
I do
 *>> best. ;)

*>Is this the Nathan Mates I've read so much about? Come
back to haunt CSA2?
*>It seems that Nathan Mates would include at least SOME
relevant information
*>with facts to back it up.

Nah... Nathan wouldn't be so naughty. And I'll agree, he put
much more effort into contributing to the Apple II Community
than the good Dorktor ever has. Too bad the Turlettes drove
him away. Hey. Using the same tactics I am. Or have you
forgotten.

*>Have I annoyed the cat by posting a reply?

You seem to have forgotten that this is a public forum, Bob.
It doesn't MATTER if I get annoyed. :) By all means,
continue the dialog!
