You mean a lot of people go through the US educational system, all
the way through college, without learning one single foreign language?

OK, to each his own.  Personally I find the lack of a command line on
the Mac too limiting.  And my good ol' Apple II simply has too little
power for what I'd want to do, so I consider it a toy which I use
occasionally only for nostalgic reasons.
