I haven't made an effort to contact the old owner yet, but I'll
definitely give it a try.  Somebody still owns apple2clones.com, so I
suppose it is possible that either he or somebody else still intends
to resurrect the site.

I figured I'd make sure there wasn't something active that I had
overlooked before I start working on it.  Whether I can get
permissions to the old content or not, it seems like there ought to be
a repository for this information.
