This is an Apple II (not Mac) newsgroup. So; there are places you are
likely to get a better answer.

If you want to use a 24x SCSI CDROM drive removed from a PC on a Mac (or
use a SCSI CDROM from a Mac on a PC which has a SCSI interface) you may be able
to download the right driver software from the drive manufacturer's net site.

If you can not locate the driver this way, try posting a message asking
about SCSI CDROM drivers on a newsgroup devoted to the target computer. For
instance, to find out about SCSI CDROM drivers for Mac, you could post a
question on comp.sys.mac.system .

Another approach is to experiment. For use in a Mac, you could download
whatever SCSI CDROM drivers Apple offers and try them out with your CDROM
drive. Or you get some 24x for-Mac drivers from some CDROM drive manufacturer
sites.

Good luck with finding the right driver!
